behind the scenes

The call to leadership rang and they answered!

This group of brave, ambitious young women were challenged with a 5-day adventure during which they journeyed deep into the vast and breathtaking Arctic Circle. They encountered tough terrain, harsh conditions and extreme temperatures as they pushed together to successfully travel about 30km near 66° 33’N. (More than 1,600 km from home!)

Not one of them had ever slept in a tent. Nor cooked over an open fire. Nor held a paddle in their hands.

The journey was steeped in wild adventure, challenge and reward as the young women pushed their own physical limits and learned to live the true essence of team.
